Virage Logic
Virage Logic is a global leader in semiconductor IP platforms comprising embedded memory, standard cells, and I/Os primarily for the consumer, communications and networking, handheld and portable, and computer and graphics markets. We were contracted to help them redesign their current Web site, which was originally created a few years ago. Their main objectives with the site redesign were:

• To project an image on their web site that equals their position in the marketplace as a global leader

• To create a site architecture that would allow users, partners, and members to find specific content quickly amongst the many pages on the site

• To create a Web site that could easily be maintained by their marketing and product managers through a content management system

• To improve the usability and maintainability of their member section

We were able to accomplish these goals through our design and layout of the site, and by working with one of our partners on creating the backend functionality. the member and partner sections now provide tiered content to the different levels of users. The content management system that was implemented allows users with little or no HTML experience to update the content that they own through an easy to use web-based interface. The overall system was created in such a way as to preserve the existing site data (approximately 5000 members), which saved the client countless hours that would have been required to recreate it.
